Today was first day of schedule passing out and parking passing out. I didn't have a great day actually. Was is because of my clothes? NO. I looked amazing (if I do say so myself) wearing the skirt in the below entry. Was it because I have no friends? NO. I saw VERY MANY people and "socialized" a lot.

Yesterday, I talked to Ryan Baetsen on the phone forEVER! Haha, it is nice to talk to people over the summer and know that you haven't lost touch as friends. Last night I watched Cruel Intentions. I really really liked the ending! So if you haven't seen it, go rent it!! ugh i have so much work for AP French Lit and AP English Lit that i haven't started... i'm screwed...

Today I spent a lot of time talking/with Anna Draganova. I know a lot of you know her but don't know her... and let me just say, she's amazing. I wish more people realized how great of a friend she is. So that's my little thing today: try and get to know her this year... but anyways, we talked on the phone for a while, and then we spent time working out at the gym. But it was really just comical because the gym was closing in 20 minuts, and our workout is more than that. We really just spent a lot of time laughing. She's good at laughing. (and making me laugh...)
In other news, I want a new livejournal layout. Do you have to be a paying person to use an HTML layout?? (i mean besides their normal ones)

well... this isn't my GREAT picture. that one is actually the one with the fake rose. just putting one up for now... also, i've just realized that they retouched the pictures... and the ones on the cd are CERTAINLY NOT retouched haha. maybe i'll scan the good-looking ones. you'll see the difference.

so i didn't get into the Harry Potter thing this time. but yesterday, my dad casually asked me if i wanted the book, and i (of course) said sure. i was pretty much planning to read it little by little (i usually read the new ones in one sitting) because i wasn't that interested in the new harry potter. HOWEVER (haha having said this) I started somewhere between 11:30-12 and ended at 3:55 AM. i liked it.
if you go into something and you think it's going to suck, everything works out. either:
a) it does suck. well you already knew it was going to suck. no dissapointment
b) it doesn't suck. it's better than you thought and you are happy

Basic idea: Make a mix of your favorite songs and trade it with your friend's mix of his/her favorite songs.
What you need: CDs, CD burner, music, jewel cases/track listing (optional but gives you bonus points)
Why? Because it gets our music circulating around. So next time you post those obscure lyrics in your profile, some of them will actually click in our heads.
Other random rules/suggestions:
1. Remember that you're putting on the playlist your favorite songs... not your friend's! And you can put ANYTHING you want on it, no matter how embarrassing (haha you're all getting backstreet boys!)
2. Don't tell the other person in advance what you're putting on it unless you MUST! ;P
3. Try to fit it all on one CD (i'll try to keep it on one disc, but gosh its hard. besides. the more discs the more music!)
4. Jewel cases and track listings would be a nice touch.
5. As for getting the CD into your friend's hands... uhh, that's up to you.
6. If you get a CD, you HAVE to make one for the friend who gave you his/her playlist.
yes. let's do this.

well today i woke up very early (7 AM) and went to my mom's office (did java etc.) got home.
my thought for the day is... why can we never take our own advice?
I can never come out and REALLY say what I mean. I know you'll laugh, but it's true. I say the truth in random things like "You're a bitch and nobody likes your attitude" but when it comes to saying things that matter to myself, I can't do it. I'm afraid of confrontation when it's with my friends and it actually has to do with me. I can stand up for other people, but not for myself.
So then, what's the issue? We're always telling other people "it's better if you come out and say it." But is it really better? I mean, think of how much white lies help.
This is the question: what is the line between white lie and... well, lie?

yesterday:
WENDY's!
I had a BLAST. Wendy's family is so fun and we just had a great time. First, we cleaned her room (which is by the way, the best artwork in the world, you all would be very jealous if you saw how she painted the walls and decorated it!) Then we watched Napoleon Dynamite, then we went to Graduation! Then we came home (late) and went to MCDONALDs! adventure! then we finished Napoleon Dynamite, although apparently i actually did fall asleep during it, because i missed the last five or so minutes. the next morning, we re-watched the last ten minutes haha because i insisted. i left i think around 11-12.
today (after leavind wendy's):
Then i just hung around the neighborhood with Marge and Gracie. we made this excellent mix cds that the neighborhood kids put together. Here's the songs... the stars are the ones i chose. the hearts are the ones i like.

i went to the pool. twice.
so the day starts out at SL
from 7:30-9:30 we were locked into a gym
in this time, i yelled at a girl for being stupid. everyone was very quiet while i did it, but when she left, they all starting high fiving me. i still feel bad. i need to learn to control my temper and be me patient with idiots. gosh she was an indiot
then i go back to margo's house for a little.
THEN from 11-2 we went to glade (pool)
it has this really nice new slide and the diving board area is really big. it's a very nice pool now that it's renovated. for the first time in my life, i got pink instead of tanned. but it doesn't hurt, so i still win.
THEN we can back to neighborhood. gracie stayed and slept while margo and i went to the plaze.
upon returning, we watched 1.5 hours of MTV.
then we went to the YMCA (pool)
i worked out.
now i'm here.

... was interesting. huge ups, huge downs, i don't regret a single thing. i'm glad i've met so many more people :)

Sam - math class pretty much rocked. good luck with the grade...
Helen - french was a blast, especially when we were finding ways to sit together!
Physics:
David - you are such an amazing person. i am amazed at how willing you were to answer my inane questions at 12 haha. thanks for being so superb!
Wendy - You, Chelsea, Andrew, Rhyan and I had the most BRILLIANT time!!!! Physics totally sucks, but i loved hanging out with you guys (in and out of school)
Sandi - since i had no classes w/ you... but i sort of had physics haha. I LOVE YOU, i cannot believe i could love someone so much in a group and past that I want to forget so much. I could never forget you, because you are such an amazing person. I enjoy your company more than you could know.
Vidya - how can i describe how cool you are? i'll tell you a joke:
